Laura is currently working on her DNP at the UTHSCH-SON.

The topic of her audition, combining media and medicine, reflects her academic area of focus.

She received the State Award for Excellence in 2006. Her clinical area of focus is critical care and she is recognized as a nursing leader and advocate for advanced practice nursing.
