Catch the video on Channel 11 KHOU for a story on APN's

Alison Mitchell, TNP President and Lisa Ginapp, HANP President were video interviewed by reporter Gabe Gutierrez. The story aired on the 10:00 news as a three minute piece on: " Doctor drought: States mull over giving nurse practitioners more power".

We had hoped the piece would expand on how APN's can help fill the void of healthcare providers in Texas. He also interviewed a board member from the Texas Medical Association who said APN's aren't qualified to provide medical care by the definition of the TMA. Alison and Lisa attempted to make our roles understood to a reporter and the general public.
